The University of Iowa School of Art and Art History’s buildings suffered
the worst flood damage on the campus. The saddest part is the School
had finally constructed a building that suited its needs, reflected the
superior education it provides, and symbolized art's history and what
the future holds. The effort involved to fulfill this spatial need was a
monumental task and the realization of it took approximately twenty
years.

PoopBags.com could have chosen any number of organizations. After
much thought, we preferred the idea of focusing our efforts on a less
well-known cause where we could make a long-lasting, positive impact.

to the environment or dogs?"
Artists – such as Ansel Adams, Claude Monet, Grant Wood, Frank
Lloyd Wright, Frederick Law Olmstead, Albert Bierstadt, Dorothea
Lange, Thomas Cole and many more – interpreted and immortalized
their surroundings. Without their awe-inspiring and thought-provoking
work, we do not believe the environmental movement would be what it
is today. It is essential to preserve and to study visual history to sustain
the future.
